The construction of modern apartment buildings suitable for senior citizens is currently being developed on a site area of approx. 2,650 m² in Cologne Merheim.
On the estate there is an old house from 1927 with a living space of approx. 275 m², which will be integrated into the construction project.
The ground of the new development area is located only 8 km east of Cologne’s city center. It is embedded in a green surrounding, making it an ideal place to live for families and senior citizens.
Facilities for daily needs such as stores, bakeries, pharmacies, schools, daycare centers and also the Mehrheim hospital are located in the immediate vicinity and can be easily reached on foot. The next station which leads to the city center, is directly behind the building complex. In addition, the Mehrheim Heath is only 600 m away and due to its meadows, walking paths and sports fields it ist he perfect place for leisure activities and recreation.
The preliminary building application will be submitted in 2022.
